Carvoeiro is at the heart of the Algarve and has a rich history which is worthwhile researching and exploring! Particularly a visit to the medieval town of Silves and the town castle is highly recommended. The area around Carvoeiro also offers numerous sports activities and wine tastings.

There are 6 excellent 18 hole golf courses within 15-20 minutes of Casa Calipor, and many more within a 30 minutes.
